Swedish Design

Sköna Hem, the Swedish design magazine, is filled with magnificent inspiration for home interior fashion. I love the clean, freshness of all Swedish design and I'd like to think that translates into simple, luxe living. The online version of the magazine is entirely in Swedish, and even though I understand less than 2%, it allows me to focus just on the pictures and design elements.

Valentino: The Last Emperor

I recently watched Valentino: The Last Emperor with some friends. I loved his story, his work ethic and dedication to long time design partner Giancarlo Giammetti. Just being able to witness his devotion to the beauty of women and his creative journey was inspiring. I've since found this collector's item book, though at $1800 I think I would rather buy the $70 version and save my pennies for a Valentino purse!
